Mercury wagon question

On a 1982 Marquis wagon (panther-chassis) with a 302/AOD, is it possible to remove the oil pan without pulling the engine?

Is this the mid-sized Marquis (same thing as the Ford LTD, replaced by the Taurus), or the full-sized car (Colony Park)?

It's a Panther--the big boat.

But it is NOT a Colony Park.

It's possible but it's a pain.
Last one I did was a long time ago but I seem to recall lifting the engine as high as it would go and pulling the pan out the front with the rad out, maybe the sway bar off too.
