Did PMF’s on my truck. Really tightened the front end of the truck up. Do them one at a time. I did mine with the truck on the ground. Have someone turn wheel side to side to help line bolts up. Gotta get the torque spec to over 400 FTLBs on the frame bolts. Nearly impossible on the ground. Will need a big torque wrench and some height or a drive over lane to get a good pull.

Radius arm torque at both frame and axle is closer to 200. Does PMF really call for 400?
sway bar drop
bump stop drop
pitman arm
4” lift springs in front
rear leaf spring blocks (you could option in new leaves, i didn’t)
radius arms (beefy, look nice & get me the caster I wanted)
track bar relo bracket
i think some brackets for the brake lines
other small items
fox 2.0 shocks all 4 corners
dual steering stabilizer with fox 2.0s (helps with heavier 37s)
I think that covers the major components
and like I said I got it on sale for $2300 with all the options I picked out. It’s $200 higher than a couple weeks ago though.
Thats an amazing price for all of that. I already have the Fox shocks and the dual steering stabilizer. Did you say you got all of it from OUO?

Your FOX shocks, which are the nicer remote reservoir version, probably won't work with a 4" lift. If you get the part # off of them I bet they say something like 0-1.5" front, 0-1" rear.

But you have no lift in the rear. You haven't had any issues with bottoming out using those shocks? You came up with those from part #'s?
Actually with how stiff these are sprung in the rear, it wouldn't be too easy to bottom out the shock without a big load....if they were too long.
No bottoming out issues. But haven't had it under a big load yet. They are a little tall for my lift, but i went that route with anticipating a 3.5-4 inch lift in the near future.

Oh ok, you bought and installed them. I thought maybe they came with the truck, like the spacer lift.
You shouldn't have put lift shocks on a truck without a lift. The shocks internal piston is now sitting about 2" lower in its travel than it should and there a much better chance of bottoming it out before you hit the bumpstop and damaging the shock if you hit a good bump, pothole, etc. This could be where the "bump rattle" you mentioned is coming from.
What springs are those shocks tuned for? Stock or are they designed to be paired with an aftermarket spring? That can also cause a harsh ride if they are under/over valved for the stock springs.
When you piecemeal a kit you need to make sure the parts are compatible with each other, not that they just fit. A shock designed for a +2.5", progressive/soft ride spring isn't gonna be any good on a 2" spacer with a stock spring just like a shock designed to be paired with the stock spring and a spacer won't be good for the lift spring.

Thanks for that information. Looks like I’m learning the hard way. Lol

if your shocks are sized for a 4” lift you could probably go to bds or a distributor and order the parts you need to complete it for a reasonable amount.
the sway bar drop, bumpstop drops, radius arms, front springs and rear block (or leaves).
if you have the correct length shocks you’re already on the way.

Thank you very much. The website I bought them from indicates 2-3.5 front and 1.5-3.5 rear. Guess I’ll go for a 3.5 lift. Wanting to keep the truck level. So what should I do in that regard?

I think those shocks would work fine with that BDS 4" lift. If that is something you want. Also, it looks like that BDS kit could be had for around $1650 with the included NX shocks. You could just toss the NX shocks or maybe sell for cheap.

You are saying the same kit you paid 2300 for you think I can get it for 1650??
