My truck has developed a thumping sound in the front right wheel area. The sound increases and decreases frequency with the speed of the truck. The sound does not change or stop when I'm turning or stopping. The passenger can feel the thumping in the floor board. I've looked around the wheel area and can not see any damage. I would appreicate anyones advise on how to trouble shoot or fix this problem.
Check for tread seperation on the front tire. If the tread starts to seperate from the body of the tire it may look fine but you'll have a soft spot where air has worked it's way between the tread and the body. It can make a thump noise when you're rolling.
