4.0L different output?
Hi, I´m been reading this forum and I started to wonder what it is that my -91 4.0L engin has aprox. 158 hp and the 4.0L engin around -94 has an output f aprox. 200 hp?
Are there any significant differece betwean this engins or is it just the "black box"

i read an interesting article about the evolution of the 4.0 litre engine. seems it has had several different head types etc over the years by ford engineers. some modifications allowing increased horsepower, and improvements in performance. i'm pretty sure i came across the article from one of the guys in this forum. must make it pretty interesting to rebuild them! rick
