Ok I just bought this truck a couple days ago. It is an 87 4x4 xlt v6 and in very good condition. The truck was one owner and he had all service logs even the original bill of sale. That being said the truck had 2 blown brake lines when I bought it...No big deal...easy fix.. Well easy until you consider the truck has spent it's life in Buffalo NY. Lot's of snow and lots of corrosion on the lines. After hours with a torch and vicegrips all the lines are replaced. Bled them out best we could.. had to bleed from the lines because the bleeders are not going to open. Start the truck and pump and pump still to the floor. Turn it off they pump right up..Bleed them again pure fluid no air Move the tuck and have very little brakes. So what is the problem? Any suggestions? Is it the master cylander? You can see the fluid move in the master cylander.. you can see the lines tighten... To top it all off ehen I was movin the truck seeing aout the brakes I lost the clutch... Upon further inspection I found the firewall was rusted out where it comes throught from the cab. But I am fixing that tomorrow with some 2 1/2 x 1/4" iron reenforcement. The brakes are still my issue To top it all off the lower seal on the steering box on my 88 2wd blew. I swear Rangers are bad luck ...lol
Any Help Appriciate...
Kevin
Ok... Tonight we replaced both the front calipers and the rear wheel cylinders... Rear wheels will lock up fronts won't. We have bled them and bled them... Still not much up front. Could it be the master cylinder? Rubber lines? Those are the only two things we have not replaced

3rd thing to check out/replace: Chances are, atmospheric moisture has entered the system + has created rust and now your brakes hydraulic differentiating valve/piston may be hanging up!
Found out myself that ya' need a lot of patients work'in on these Rangers! (put a grand + 1/2 into mine so far w/o the cost of my own labor)
