Need Steering Help

My family and I purchased a 2000 Excursion Limited 2WD 6.8 v10. The wife wanted it lifted, we purchased a 6" Pro Comp Lift with the FD600 Pitman Arm. Everything went great with the install, until I got to replacing all the front steering components along with new bushings and new ball joints. When I went to adjust the tie rod ends to get close to straight I couldn't. Either I could only turn left and when I turned back to the right and got to full lock on the right the tires were straight. I noticed when I installed the new pitman arm, not only did it have splines, but it had 4 larger grooves cut into the sector shaft of the steering box, spaced equally around in 4 spots. So I tried to take it down and move the pitman arm over to the next groove it still would not allow me to adjust the tie rods enough to make it straight, I either don't have enough threads on one side or I am butting up the ends on the other side. I called Pro Comp and the said it was the correct Pitman arm for my truck. My production date is 03/2000. I have attached Pics so you can see what I am talking about. Both pics are with the steering wheel and steering box at center, Pitman arm is about 45 degrees from center

STEERING BOX IS AT CENTER, 2 TURNS FROM FULL LOCK

SAME STEERING BOX AT CENTER

If memory serves the box is not 4 turns lock to lock.

disconnect the drag link and accurately count the rotations lock to lock. The from full lock center the wheel by dividing the number exactly in 1/2

I would start with the left wheel straight then adjust the right. If it does the same thing, you most likely have the wrong tie rod end on the right. Once you get the tires straight, unhook the pitman arm and center the steering wheel,
