This is the tailgate I made and the patterns for the letters I had planned to make. I cut the letters out of 1/8" sheet metal
yesterday and was finishing them off today as well as cleaning up the welds on the tailgate. I have to pick up some bonding
epoxy tomorrow if I can find some place that has it in stock otherwise will be ordering it on line..

Good afternoon NH, hope you're having a great day. I took a trip to a local junkyard today and boy did I get lucky!
Hood (zero rust), dash pad (no crack), instrument cluster w/tach, factory radio with cassette and some trim pieces.

when I remember
All this talk about fixing trucks. I kinda miss my project(s) a little now.
haven't even walked through a salvage yard in probably close to 10 years. I do know the truck salvage yard I frequented in Northern VT in the early 2000s was long closed and gone last time I went by it. I was a bit sad.

went once. Payed there price and never went back.
This was many many years ago, but doubt it changed.

Good evening Dan, no chance of me seeing any salvage yards anymore, only one that was near to me completely cleaned out their yard of small vehicles, only heavy equipment and transport wrecks there now..they focus all their time in towing now..
