I think I could do it in my garage but I'd be laying on my back doing it and not sure I'd like to..I hate giving up on the car because it still drives really good and there isn't really a lot of mileage on it, 134,000+ Kilometres. My last one had over 400,000 before I dumped it. It just comes to a point of how much money you want to sink into a vehicle that really has no value..it is basically a 12 year old car..
Bugs me but the time is to let go. One of these days I'll have to get the old Chevy truck hauled away even though there is a lot of good parts on it. If I were younger I might have used it for another project but then I have too many of them now...lol
I had thought of that at one point but figured I had enough headaches...lol
The Frame on the Chevy is rusted bad and why I took it off the road, frame is paper thin in spots..
No the Impala will be our only daily driver, as much as I'd like another truck to haul things I wouldn't really use it enough to make it worth it..The Chevy pickup was parked more than I ever used it in the past 5 years, think that's why it rusted so bad from all the ground moisture..
It's not good for any vehicle to sit for long times, I need to take the panel out for a spin, it will be 2 years next month since I took it for a drive ..
Good day Steve, what you up to today. I put the rims back on the front of the truck this morning then took the back rims off and pulled the bolts that mount the leaf springs and lifted the frame from the rear differential in preparation of painting the back end of the frame..
