Steering Wheel Controls

My 2017 F250 has intermittent times that the steering wheel buttons either don't work at all or they do things that they are not supposed to do. I have a 2020 F250 steering wheel lying around the shop. Does anyone know if I can just swap steering wheels to see if the problem in in the wheel buttons?

It may be the clock spring going out. I had to have mine switched already on my 22. My buttons still worked but it was making a noise when turning the wheel in old weather.

If it's the same layout it should work just fine.

In the process of installing a raptor wheel on my 21, and then back to stock and onto my 22, and then back to stock waiting for my 22 6.7. For fun i also picked up a 21 lariate leather wheel and put it on the 16 f150 i sold to a friend. All the wheels are compatible, but you might want to swap the controls over from your current wheel depending on the features.
