Thumping
I have an 08 6.4. 298k miles. It is deleted. Runs awesome.
at idle there is a very pronounced but intermittent thumping coming from the engine. As soon as rpm’s increase it disappears. Does not affect running and this has been going on for a couple of years.
im getting mixed opinions from local mechanics. Any suggestions?
