I finally found something I don't like about my 2021 Lariat supercab 5.0 (especially now that it has become an issue)
I removed the tailgate to load a heavy snowblower into the bed, and wanted the ramps to rest on the bumper, not the tailgate.
There are FOUR (!) different connectors that need to be disconnected from under the bed (near the spare tire) in order to remove the tailgate.
Ford provides "dummy" connectors to put in their place so that debris from driving doesn't get into the connectors (see photo). So I used them.
Got everything re-assembled and everything works EXCEPT the power lock for the tailgate.
Before I trial-and-error (disconnect / reconnect) each of the four connectors to find which one is the problem, Does anyone know which of the four is for the power lock?
