Looking for someone to teach
Names Zach, 27 years old. Proud owner of a 97' F-250 7.3 Diesel. Been working on cars my and trucks my whole life. I am mechanically inclined and looking to dig a little deeper into the world of trucks.
Ive recently been really into engine building and overall performance upgrading my truck. I have been reading and watching all I can get my hands on. However I am coming to the point where I really would like to be taken under someones wing and have a mentor as I start my journey into upgrading my truck
There are some things you just need to be taught, that eventually i want to pass down to my kids!
I am a engineer by trade and love hands on learning. I am located in Northern NJ and am willing to travel. I want to keep this tradition alive so if anyone is out there who needs an extra hand, maybe some work done around the shop etc I am looking for a kind person that would be willing to teach me some more about these great vehicles.
Just give in and buy an electric vehicle! Better yet, use govern.......er.....public transportation.
I never thought that I'd see the grotesque down turn we've seen in the last [almost] 3 years happen so quickly but it's here. We are no longer able to do what we want, when we want (within reason). My stepdaughter wants to drive a car I own when she is of driving age. She's almost 10 and I really don't think petroleum-powered vehicles will be legal for use, nor will we be able to even buy fuel for them in the next 4-5 years. It makes me sad but there's no stopping this downward spiral and all of the vehicles we know and love will end up on a rescue-style TV show in the year 2065. "2002 F250 Powerstroke sitting for 40 years! Will it run and drive 300 miles home?"
I own a fleet of these things and they're losing value every day - soon won't be worth scrap price - but they belong to me and they make me happy.
