oil pressure seems high. maybe the oil isn’t warming up

coolant temperature is colder than oil. if oil cooler was plugged wouldn’t coolant be running hot?

also the isspro gauge must not be hooked up or working

No, no coolant flow oil gets hot, nothing to cool off oil.

Grab an infra red temp gun and point it the thermostat housing then point it directly at the oil cooler and see what temps you get

I guess my question is if somebody put stop leak in the coolant would not the coolant side of the oil cooler be plugged? Therefore making the coolant temperature hotter? I don’t believe they used stop leak in the oil.

Coolant cools off engine oil not the other way around.
Coolant passes thru the cooler to cool of the oil, once plugged coolant takes the path of less resistance, so your left with oil not being cooled off, in the oil cooler.

I know with autoenginuity there is no way to read coolant temp and the reading you do get is incorrect. I think the coolant temp sensor pretty much just runs the dash gauge. I freaked out because mine was reading 280 degrees and after some research that is what I found.

yeah i’m trying not to over react. i didn’t think about it at first. but when you first start the rig it reads negative °F. so i didn’t even think about it at first

coolant temp shows negative. so i think it’s incorrect. obviously

Oil temp can be read but coolant can't be read.

I bought AE to help get the truck running. Now that it is, I think I'm going to add a Edge. AE is pretty awesome but a PITA for anything else but diagnostics. I just wish the Edge was not $415 because its going to be a few minutes before I can do that. Duramax needs tires and the 7.3 needs a hitch and both are going to come before the edge.
