Tire Sensor Fault

Getting a tire sensor fault on my 2018 dually on one of the back tires

Does this usually mean a sensor went bad and needs replacing or can they be reset ?

Thanks

Yeah, I was disappointed when one of mine went bad on my 2017 after only a few years. Replaced all four when I took it to Discount. All my other vehicles with TPMS sensors lasted at least 10 years before the batteries died.

Try getting it reset first. Sometimes that will work. If you were local to me, I would do it for you.

If it fails again quickly then it needs to be replaced. Normal life of a TPMS sensor battery is 7 to 10 years. But it depends on how much it is used.
