Has anyone replaced 17” OEM wheels with 20” wheels on a 2016 Expedition?

 

I'm sure many have. Do you have a more specific question about it? I did it on our 2003.

 

Just asking for a rougher rider with so much less sidewall. If you're just doing it for looks I'd suggest finding a set of 18" wheels you like

 

True, that would be on the Con's list. But on the Pro's list would be road performance. I know our 6k lb bricks aren't built for shredding lanes on the highway, but when I needed to quickly switch lanes at 80, the 20's were way more controlled and planted. I didn't mind the ride on 20's with P tires; LT tires with stiffer sidewall were rougher. Tire and wheel selection are very particular to personal use and personal preference.

 

Thanks for the feedback. The 17” just look tiny. 18” with a decent tire should look much better.
