These NGOs run by satanic technohumanists are pushing the EV agenda as part of the march towards agenda 2030.
"Climate change" is the vehicle for obtaining "Build Back Better" and the "own nothing and be happy" for the miserable WEF globalists who seek global NGO communism by 2030.
We don't have the grid, we don't have the resources, we don't have the money for widespread EV.
What will happen is the EV projects will be funded with phantom dollars, accelerating our inflation and devaluing our individual worth.
Early EV adopters will multiply until the brownouts start (already happening).
Govt then steps in and uses as excuse to limit travel or car ownership. Creates "15 min cities" to "avoid hurting our grid". Restricts vehicle ownership to municipalities only.
This method of give a yard and take a mile is how it works.
So, for that reason, Ford can screw off until the company is directed by a man who could give two sh*"* what the WEF or NGOs think.
A lot of it is because Farley is putting all of his focus on EVs. He is rushing it prematurely and paying the price dearly in quality. He also stated he diverted chips and supplier resources to EVs at the expense of other vehicles.
I've learned the entire Farley family are just like his comedian actor cousin...clowns.

slow down there, at least Chris was funny aside from his personal demons.
but yes, J. Farley openly said he will divert profit from ICE vehicles to subsidize EVs, lamenting that he couldn’t electrify SD yesterday. So will he put money and focus back into ICE vehicles in the name of quality? Who knows.
ON edit: just reopened. That one turned sideways in a hurry. Everyone here knows that we’re a tech forum instead of a political one. If you want to discuss government policy or their underlying motivations, I’d suggest creating a Twitter or Facebook account.
So Jim Farley (Ford CEO) hires Josh Halliburton (Executive Director of Quality) in March of this year and now he's saying "Fixing quality is my No. 1 priority ... It is the most important initiative in the whole company. And it’s going to take several years." Bill Ford should personally escort this guy out the back door ASAP.

Did he really say that? LOL. If they did this tomorrow they'd lose nearly all of their Super Duty buyers. Some would still buy them sure, but lamenting he hasn't done it yesterday? Flatout insanity and or virtue signaling at it's finest.

I can't find the quote but a few months back it made the round here. That combined with the massive layoffs in the ICE division is the writing on the wall for long time Ford employees who aren't digital marketing gurus or subscription specialists.
Don't get me wrong, I realize that the other 1.5 domestic makers are shifting that way as well so it is no surprise, but only Ford is splitting its ICE division off and making it perfectly clear that ICE buyers need to get ready to pay more so they can squeeze Ford Blue for every last drop of blood before kicking it to the curb the way they did to the old Rangers and Crown Vics.
Here's some more reporting on Fords quality and the financial impact. Has Farley been fired yet?
Got to speak with my cousin who's been a Ford tech since 1994 and he reported in all his years he had no problems getting warranty work completed, but now there's a bunch of red tape he has to deal with for a warranty repair. It's so bad that after he diags the problem he has to set the vehicle to the side and wait for Ford to approve the repair.

Farley directly told the ICE truck division that their job is to get the EV side on it's feet by selling ICE trucks. He then told them their services will not be needed once that happens.

I can believe it... I picked up my 22 on a Friday... I'll admit I didn't look it over as well as I should have. Later I found a few spots in the paint that needed to be fixed. I took it to the dealership the next week and showed them the spots, but they had to file it with Ford to get approved to do the work. It took 3 months. It began by them telling me that they submitted the photos to Ford and had to wait on approval... I believe that actually happened, but I also believe that the service manager let it fall through and never followed up on it unless I was standing in front of him... He is no longer the service manager, but even still I wonder how long it would have taken with a service manager that actually makes an effort.
Then, it had to go back the second week we had it because the tailgate was getting stuck... My wife had to take it in since I was at work, but they tried to charge her to "lube and adjust" the tailgate. She stood her ground and made them file it as warranty repair on a 2 week old truck.
My '17 has been relatively flawless with just one recall being the sound insulation pad over the driveshaft, which I haven't taken it in for yet because it's still affixed and I hate dealerships. I was thinking about trading it in on a '23 but I don't care for the looks of the new trucks. Seems like vehicles are getting like campers now with it being the luck of the draw whether you get a good one or not but I think still most will probably be good.
