4X4 Areas

Hey All,

I'm out here in Millington north of Memphis and want to take my '03 Ranger FX4 Off Road for some four wheelin'. I was wondering if anyone out this way knows of a place to go. I've had it a month and now it's time to go get it dirty.

I would start by looking on the Tennessee state parks webpage. Maybe eastern Tennessee has some off roading available around the Great Smokey Mountains area.

If you find any good trails make sure to come back and tell us all.

An area I have heard a lot of in Tennessee is the Tellico offroad area in lower center tennessee. I hope to get my jeep on the road soon and plan on heading down there to get it dirty.

i live in memphis, near the intersection of summer and stage. there are a few mud holes and trails around me. there is the sex trails out off of Old Brownsville RD. and there is the Loosehatchee Trails(but i think the cops have that blocked off) and then there are a few places i find in the area. my 2WD F-150 can get thru most of it fine if it aint too wet, but with this rain we have had over the day i aint exactly goin to try anything soon. there are some good places in Memphis (which is hard to believe) but ya gotta look hard and in the little places to find them. If you have any ideas for clubs could you send them my way, my AIM screen name is FordRacinCwby. thank you and good luck in your searchin.

>>trails out off of Old Brownsville RD.

Where are those trails by Brownsville Rd.?? I went out Friday up in Tipton County but everything was super dry. Except for one hole. Another 4 inches and I would have made it. Glad there was someone with me to pull it out. Then I had to pull his big Z71 out later.
