uploaded both of those pics of the same label because the quality is not the best but I couldnt tell which was better as it appears on the forum so hopefully one is readable. Specifically, I was hoping to get insight into anything big like what transmission is U, is the brakes or axle codes mean anything special or good,
And also, what is the axle yes but is the width of this axle narrower than an OBS f series? Is it an 8.8 I assume? And when it comes to the hub pattern, I believe it to be metric, 5x139.6 or something, but that was a google search result. Didnt know if the hub size had any changes if the van was to go on for further building like this was(became a tall ceiling travel or rave kinda van.. idk. lol. Is that metric pattern compatible on a 5x5.5 vehicle like my f150 which , according to my tape measure, has a center opening roughly the same size as well. the wheels are alloy and 15s and I need 2 wheels for snow tires
but it was used in the end of its life in the previous owner(before my dad) to have a wheel chair lift and allow a disabled person drive and live independent. if that matters. i may be able to part some of it out as well.
I already know it has a 5.4l and it was in decent condition so if the transmission is a keeper i think i will be harvesting those.
The tag says that is an incomplete vehicle so what kind of truck is it? it will have an 8.8 axle with an open 3.55 gear ratio and trans code U is 4R70w. The wheel bolt pattern is 5x5.5 same as the OBS pickup trucks.

I put this in the van section because its a E150 conversion van
Thank you tho you have been helpful so far, I was astonished to see 5x5.5(which I had confirmed in person) with the proper center bore opening on a 2001 E150. I think the axle , other than the perch spacing, can be easily swapped, and I think I may go this route since my OBS has 3.08 and the wheel ends(brake parts) need to be replaced backing plate to drum + the hard line)
The 5.4 and 4r70w I think, even with 208k, are worth pulling and maybe putting to good use in a swap or trade down the line. I believe its a 2v , which to my understanding usually means reliable as dirt if you change your oil.

I hate seeing these things, these old 1/2 tons were really too light duty for a conversion platform.

Yeah the E150 didn't change until about 2005 when Ford essentially took an E250, put ligher springs under it and attached E150 badges.

The diff is also offset a little more to the passenger side, I don't know if it would be enough to matter but definitely put a measuring tape on it and have a look.

thank you for that insight. If i recall a bit too, the diff has a slightly different track width but nothing to cry home about, I believe. Passenger offset is also not too bad as well, since the gas tank on the driver would be the only issue I could see(my single simple exhaust pipe im sure wouldnt be hard to get to clear if it wasnt already. But good things to check!
I happen think these are some Ugly as hell wheels, and I wouldnt be able to use the center cap on the front if I use them.. but they may just make a good set to mount seasonal tires on lol...
