I had the tailgate popping open on its own recall issue fixed but they played with the BCM and now my doors lock automatically when I start to drive my 2019 f250. I had disabled it years ago with the forscan but now I can’t remember how I did it.
Also my DRL would come on when I put the truck in drive and now they don’t and my signal lights hyper flash because I did an led upgrade.
I have read the forscan BdyCM AS BUILT and Module configuration and can’t figure out how I did it before.
FWIW, when I had the tailgate recall performed on my 2017, none of my Forscan changes were altered by the dealer.
He might have had the updated "fix" which I think does include some BCM reprogramming. I never had the tailgate recall done but did have the DRL recall completed. After that some of my Forscan changes, the changes in that particular module (BCM), had to be re-done.
It was the second recall because the fist one did not work. The BCM is listed in the work order and its now a double click to open it. I have had to reprogram a few different things. Still struggling with the Auto tail lights and the hyper flashing led signal lights.
When I made forscan changes to my truck, I made a log of every change I made and what the factory setting was, that way if it ever goes to dealer & they make changes, I can always go back in & know exactly what to look for and where. It may not be necessary, but I have it if needed.
