I know my '22 450 Platinum seats don't turn on until I push the button, but i'm not certain if the steering wheel is working or not. Will check and report back. My truck did have the MC seat delete which i've read could possibly be the cause of this issue.
Mine is Lariat so there was not even an option for MC. My seats do not heat on remote start.

Thanks @gSwift for the data and let us know if your steering wheel heats prior to PTS. I have added this data to our tracking sheet. Can you DM me your VIN, build date, and whether or not you have Adaptive Cruise Control and Adaptive Steering?
I don't believe the MC delete is the issue as we have had a number of members report that they do have the MC seats but their seat does not heat on RS prior to PTS. Just an FYI, the heated seat lights (3 red LEDs) on the climate control will not light up until PTS.
Interesting data points in the attached graph, but of the 66 members that have provided data to me, 78% of the MY22s have reported no seat heat on RS until PTS/key-on. Unfortunately, we need more MY22 VINs that can confirm seat heat on RS prior to PTS/key-on so @ZooDad can compare module firmware and module configurations.
My 22 350 DRW Platinum has the MC delete and I’m having the same situation. No heated seat until I push the start button, heated steering wheel heats up before the start button but no seat.
Thanks @Je942010 for the data, can you DM me with the same info I requested from gSwift for my tracking sheet? I logged your data previously when you responded, but missing some data. Thank you.
I called the service department at Granger Ford where I purchased my truck and asked if he had heard anything about this problem from Ford and the service advisor said no he was not aware of any issues with heated seats and remote start

I think some people are not as nerdy as we are.
I mentioned it to both the new car manager and the used car manager at my dealer and neither (who both got '22 trucks when I did) knew their remote seat heat didn't work. Once I explained that they come on when PTS they both realized only the steering wheel was on/hot, the seats were cold.
I didn't think it mattered for older than '22 trucks but if you are keeping tabs here is my '18.
VIN No. *1FT8W3DT4JEB49846*
MY SD 2018
Trim level Lariat Ultimate
Massaging seat (MC Seat) Yes/No No
Key ignition or push-to-start ignition Push to Start
Rear heated seats Yes/No NO
Adaptive steering Yes/No No
Adaptive cruise control Yes/No NO
Most preferable, if you do have seat heat on remote start activation prior to key-on or push-to-start. DID HAVE seat heat during remote start, prior to push-to-start.

Unsure of build date
Got your data logged for the 2018 in addition to your 2022. Thanks @CarterKraft
@JHForman812 , I have tested this while sitting in the cab and remote starting (one of the 12 tests I have conducted ) and same result confirmed with FORScan PID monitoring, that the seat temp remains constant until PTS, then the seat temp immediately increases. I've done test at <32*F and >32*F ambient air temp, same results.
@jim7044 , you are one of the few MY22 owners that remote start activates seat heat prior to key-on/run or PTS. Would you mind DM'ing me with your VIN so @ZooDad and I can compare your module firmware and configurations and see what may be different. You are correct on the menu settings. I have my remote start settings set to Climate Control=Auto (options are Auto or Last Used) and Seat & Wheel=Auto (options are Auto or Off). I've test both the Auto and Last Used and it does not make a difference.....same result.....no seat heat until PTS. The Ford Work Shop manual states that the ambient air temp has to be <32*F for heated seats to activate (I am assuming this is the Auto setting as there is no description provided for "Last Used"). Having said that, we have had a few members report that their seat heats at temps well above 32*F, in the 40-50*F range. IDK, but I believe the Ford WS Manual is not accurate.
Well....I need to change/updated my above answer. Run out last night to pick some snacks, Outside temp 20, (truck setting/off all day) remote start key fob for 10-ish mins, I had shorts on...Seat heat definitely NOT working until pushing start button in truck. Steering wheel nice and warm on entry. 22MY/Aug 12 build date/Lariat Ultimate. I'm sure it's worked before but maybe not.

Thanks for rechecking jim7044, and confirming no seat heat on RS until PTS. I updated our tracking sheet.
Got an OTA update to the GWM today. Went to get in the truck and the running board didn't come down. (That was fun!). The menu option for the running board had reset to OFF from automatic. Another post suggested this was due to a software update and to check Fordpass. Sure enough, it says version 3.5.2 was applied. I'll test the seats in a few minutes.
