After 6 years my 2017 F350 CCLB 6.2L Lariat has a dash squeak. I have only noticed it since it turned cold. It sounds like it is directly in front of me. Does anyone have any proven fixes or likely trouble spots? TIA!
Can't say I have any squeaks in my 2017, but one of my 2011 F250 work trucks has one. It squeaks between the A pillar and the dash. About drove me crazy and took forever to figure out where it was coming from !
I wedged a piece of cardboard down into the gap, and squeak is gone... Maybe somewhere for you to look ? Good luck!
This is far out there but all of the sudden I had a dash squeak that started when it got cold, and also sounded right in front of me but it turned out to be a water bottle that I had put in the drivers door pocket. I know this might not help but I drove for days before I figured it out.
I had a super annoying cold weather squeak in my last truck where the A pillar met the dash and I used some of that rubber backed duct wrap. Metallic on one side black sticky rubber on the other and shoved a small piece down there. No more sound ever.
I had "squeaks" in the dash on my 2011. I removed the dash panel and facing and the installed velcro and put it back together. It never squeaked again.
Apples to oranges perhaps but we had a rattle in the dash of a Freestar minivan. I got some dense rubber foam material and shoved it between the dash and the windshield to fix it.
