I'm thinking I should at least temporarily put one on to check for depris. Which one should I get? I still haven't seen any pictures of how you'll have them set up. Is it too much of a pain to install one?

You are correct and I agree. However, the degree of stuff I had in there was way over the top and is now to a level that seems more manageable. Once winter is over, I can revisit the drain/flush with the plugs out when I don't have to worry about negative temperatures. I will try to slam in the cooler soon though.

Here’s a riffraff setup. I don’t use the hoses they supply. I use a hose barb and some coolant rated 3/8 hose.

Oh, just hooks into the overflow? Where does the downward directional hose go?

There is a npt plug in the driver side of the water pump right under the thermostat.

@Hyakkimaru Sorry it’s taking me so long to get a picture. Mine is similar to what is shown above except mine is homebrew.

Incidentally, the International water pump has the filter integrated into it if you are looking for a more compact solution.

Ohhh I like that. Maybe I should wait till I have to do a water pump and do that 😂

You liked the wrong year model but I found the one for my 2000 shortly after clicking your link. Thanks!
