Hi i need a late 40s to mid 50s flathead v8 in kansas for under $450
Anybody have one?

 

I have one that I am as we speak or type taking the heads off to see if it is good to go. I am going to check the stroke as it has both mercury heads on it but I know that does not mean anything so off come the heads to check . It definitely needs rebuilding. I am Ozark Mo.

I did not finish gettting the heads off last night so I will let you know.

 

Got the drivers side head off. Visual inspection no cracks. taking the right side off today. One broken head bolt in center. Enough to weld washer and nut to back out.
