coolant leak
Hello all. I have a coolant leak from what appears to be a Y fitting on passenger side that connects to hoses. I tried to find this part and cannot. Called dealer and was told not available. Do any of you have a fix for this. Thanks Billy

A Y fitting or a T fitting? On my 04 6.8 V10 I recently had a T fitting on the passenger side behind the engine start leaking. Look at the end of this thread if this is what yu have. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...lant-leak.html

Well after getting the wrong part twice once from local supplier and then from Ford dealer I cut the hoses off at the end of the y fitting and used shark bite fittings with hose clamps to replace. It seems like you would have to remove the AC unit and the heater core to get to the end of the hose.
