2019 F350 Code P208C
Cleared the code, it stayed off for a about an hour or so of driving and then came back on. I crawled under the truck, dropped the spare, and checked the wiring plug for the pump, it appears to be fine. Does this most likely mean the pump itself is shot? Figured I'd at least ask on here first before buying a new one, as they are around $1,500 for just the pump up here in Canada. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.
That aside, for future reference, there is a TSB on that 22-2191.
Checking the harness means disconnecting and inspecting C3613 (16 pin connector) at the reductant pump/heater assembly and C4851/C3610 (4 pin connector) at the reductant level sensor/quality module for signs of corrosion. Check both sides of the connector - harness and component side.
Typically if there is no corrosion you replace harness, if there is corrosion, you replace the corroded side - harness or pump module. Don't use dielectric grease as tempting as it is. Connect everything clean and dry.
