Anyone put one of these on a 460 cause I'm having a hard time believing a 68 HP gain from these just wondering if any real world experience with them...Thanks for any info

I put Banks headers, and 3" Stinger exhaust on my completely rebuilt 1994 460. During the rebuild, I also installed a slightly hotter comp cam. Huge increase in power and towing. 68 hp, probably not. But, in its current set up, I can tow our 9,500# fifth wheel, over Snoqualmie pass, at 60 m.p.h., and only drop my E4OD to 3rd gear. I did install a magna flow generic catalytic converter, and completely removed my air injection system. I'm sure those helped my power and torque as well. Its a good system, very simple directions, just kind of pricey.

any chance you remember what cam, I am in the middle of an argument with myself cause I have a clean 1990 with a very tired EFI 460 and I just happen to have a very low mileage carb engine built for towing and can't decide which way I want to go. I know the carb engine pulled like a freight train and that's what I want and switching wouldn't be to bad but the cost of the Banks stuff is killing me so I'm trying to decide.
Sorry, don't remember the cam specs, or number. But, if it was me, I'd stay with efi, been very happy with mine over a carbed version. And I agree, Banks is pricey, but, well worth the money in my opinion.
I'm an old man so the carb don't bother me it's what I grew up building. I'm not an EFI hater either thats why I'm arguing with myself. Plus I know I could never get the money the carb engine is worth if I sold it so i also have that dilemma. Thanks for your info though really helps to know the Banks stuff does work
