My '12 6.7L has some major problems and not sure what to try to fix them.
Upon letting off the gas pedal, I am hearing a loud humming/vibration type noise. It ONLY happens when I let off the gas pedal and less than 1800 rpms.
Also, I have an airbag light on in the dash, my horn/cruise control/buttons on the steering wheel are not working at all.
Have a low tire pressure alert as well.
I do not know what is causing all of these things. I just got my truck back from my ex fiance who stole it from me and my truck was NOT this way when I was driving it.
It seems to drive normally, except it almost acts like it's not building boost too well. The boost won't go above the 1st line when I look at the instrument cluster, when accelerating it won't go above the first hash mark, seems to stay at or near 0 most of the time, except under acceleration.
I can't give any additional info as that is all I have. I just got the truck back from my ex fiance and do not know what issues it was having as he has had it for 1.5 years. All I know is that when I let my foot off the gas pedal, I hear this really loud whining/humming/vibration type noise and it usually occurs at 1800 rpm's and gets quieter as the truck slows...I have a video but I do not know how to attach one here.
The low tire pressure alert in the dash...I don't know what the issue is. All 4 tires are NOT low.
When I turn the steering wheel, it sounds like something is rubbing...could be broken wires?
The lights are the clock spring under the steering wheel. Replace it. The low tire light is a low tire or a tire sensor is bad or the tires have been rotated and not resynced. Check the tire pressure first. It doesn't sound like you have any major issues. Need more INFO nation on the noise. Is the check engine light on?

No CEL, no codes. Ran my OBDII code reader and there aren't any codes.
The tires on there are the same ones that I had bought 2 yrs ago. Not sure, I have not had a chance to check tire pressure. I just got it back from my ex Tuesday, and with the holidays and me having to work Wedsnesday I have not had a chance to check the tires. I think the ex was just going to drive it until it died.
If the turbo bearings are bad, does that mean the entire turbo has to be replaced?
