I have a 1990 F-150 with the 4.9L. There is a grommet and hose going in right beside the oil fill. Other end of the hose goes to the air box. I can barely pull it and it comes out. Seems like it shouldn't do that! Not sure what that hose is. Thanks in advance
It's a crankcase breather to the filter box and should be small filter in box for it. Take the hose to your local auto store if you want and they can cut you a new section.
Thanks! I appreciate that. The hose is fine. It's the grommet and hose "connector" that are loose. If I pick up on the hose, the whole thing slides right out of the crankcase.
