You can, but it's not recommended... I had to make a change to mine (22MY) after I got a VIN because when the order got picked up the color got changed somehow. It took a regional manager to make the change though. But, unless absolutely necessary I wouldn't recommend changing things once you get a VIN assigned... it shouldn't change anything, but that's just one more thing to possibly mess the order up, or prolong it... or worse, it gets stuck somewhere and doesn't move. I'd try to make sure that your order is exactly what you want to begin with...
Ordered a F350 Lariat CC srw on 11/12. Bare bones except for 5th wheel pkg, dual alts, and spray bedliner. Bedliner may hold it up a bit but that is OK.
Nothing besides the order email that came same day.
I’d expect my order on 11/9 to have at least 50,000 orders in front of it. Let’s assume half of those are KR and up trims. So about 25,000 Job 1 trucks to be built before mine. Not sure if that’s how things work or not, just a thought.
I may be one of the few hoping to not get the truck soon as I’d like the salt from this winter to be gone before it comes in. I’m hoping for a spring delivery. April or May would be nice.
Yeah my (XLT trim) order was put in the system on 10/29, I don't expect anything until April-may hopefully no later than June but I'm not holding my breath. I read about all the 22MY guys STILL waiting and it's kind of deflating....we will see.
If I don't get it by June I'll need to scour the lots for ANY HD truck to pull a new 5th wheel that got delivered last week, I don't think my Jeep is up to the task although I bet I could bolt the 5th wheel hitch up to the jeeps roll bars, that would put the pivot point directly over the rear wheels...Hmmmmm
Do they run a mix of SRW, DRW 350s, 450s, all at the same time on the line? Or do they run separate lines for 450, etc? Anyone know anything about that?

I'd be interested in knowing that too. I have a DRW on order. As for scheduling, not yet on my end.
I doubt they run in batches of one or the other. The lines are so automated now on parts supplies that they can run any trim, any color, any WB, any DRW/SRW combination down the line at any time and have it drive off exactly as ordered.
