Rear Hatch struts
I am discovering all the pleasant attributes of Wisconsin winters and one of them is that my rear hatch does not stay up anymore. Does this mean I should get new struts, or is this normal in cold weather? It doesn't even try to stay up - you have to hold it up with one hand or it will crank you on the back of the head. I am assuming that they are leaky, but in its former cushy life in Miami, FL, the temps never made this an issue. If so, where can I find replacements?

Pretty inexpensive and easy to replace. I went with a little bit longer setup so the hatch is higher when all the way up. I'm glad I did bc now I can walk under it and not hit my head. I'm not really that tall either, just 6'1.
