I had a friend die on Valentines day. He was my 7th grade classmate, and pretty much my best friend at the time. Since then Valentines has had a bit of a catch for me.
20 years ago I lost my 16 y/o cousin when I was a freshman in high school, February 18th. We grew up really close and it felt like I lost a brother so this year has always had a funky feel to it every since
Unfortunately I haven't lost very many people-- Grandparents and in laws-- I had 3 classmates die right out of HS in the same accident-- I wasn't close to them-- Then I had a few High school exgirlfriends pass in the last couple years. One was a princess at Disney world- the other still lived in Superior NE, one committed suicide, while in a mental hospital. I couldn't make it to any funeral. So when someone close to me goes its going to be bad. The one that committed suicide has a twin sister that's still a friend on facebook. Creeps me out sometimes.
Enough already with the death stuff in life’s accomplishments thread. I raised two good daughters. That’s an accomplishment I’m proud of. Not bragging but I try to be decent to people although it is a real struggle at times. Not only that but I got the entry way to the back door painted last week. What more is there? 😂
I’m sorry I insulted you on FB, Chad. I promise to do it again. I don’t actually spend much time on it anymore. I’d rather waste my time not doing other stuff. 🤪
