Yes, that is something the dealership mentioned to me, but all we had was the USB cables connected to our iPhones.

Did you disconnect those and turn off the phones? I think there was a bad set of USB cables involved. How a cable could be that screwed up is beyond me.

I only got 5 year out of two sensor and other two failed before the 3 year warranty ran out. I have a 2017. I too bought an Autel 508 TPMS tool and sensors. I found a deal at the time that the tool and sensors cost just a little more than what the tire shop would have charged me for the sensors alone. Can't say I have much use for the tool, but it does make it a little easier to relearn after a tire rotation and check to see if sensors are working.

I have recently gotten the TPMS sensor fault message on my 2022 with less than 6,600 miles. I did rotate the tires around 6,000 miles front to rear but did not retrain the sensors. I run 72 PSI at all four corners loaded or not, so I never expected the dashboard readout to change. In regards to any personal accessories being connected, the only two would be my cell (not wired, but running Android Auto) and a USB memory stick containing nothing but some music files.

The TPMS fault message has appeared 3 times in the last couple months, and it has always been after driving at highways speeds around 45 minutes. It has always been the rear wheels, but has switched between right-rear and left rear. The message never appears during short trips around town. My second annual state safety inspection is coming due in September, so I'll let my service manager know ahead of time about this situation so an appropriate time slot can be scheduled.

They delivered our vehicle this morning and it has a new alternator. They believe the alternator is the problem with the sensors. It's been a long time since February 2023 and we are hoping the replacement alternator is the cure....

These trucks can do odd things when the voltage is too low.
