Which Speedo Gear

The previous owner put larger tires on so now the speedometer/odometer is off. The rear axle code is H3 and the tires are 30" How many teeth would my speedo gear need to be in order to get an accurate reading?

You have to see what gear it has, and how much the speedo needs to change.
Each tooth makes about a 2mph difference. Subtract teeth to increase speed, add teeth to slow it down.

FWIW: I ran 30" tires for years on my Truck. The difference from stock was 5mph @ 55. Speedo read 55 but truck was actually doing 60. (Axle 19, 3.55:1)
