The air doesn't seem to get any cooler even when driving 50-60mph. The condenser appears to be original, in great shape, and I do keep it very clean so I'm not sure that's it. I have no idea how that expansion valve works by the firewall but I replaced the old tar-like gunk with new tar-like gunk to surround it. Didnt' notice any difference back when I did that tho.
