PLEASE HELP!!! with NO RUNNING LIGHTS

Good Day Ford Friends,
I need some help finding out why "ALL" of my exterior running lights are not working, all interior lights seem to be OK. I will explain what happened when this problem started and what I have checked to try and correct it. I have a 2011 F450 Lariat I purchased used and everything has worked great for almost 2 years now. So I installed my Arctic Fox camper and my Trailer to pull a SxS, I had to do a little minor wiring and clean up connections, all lights worked great no problems for a couple of weeks then we went on vacation and lost all of the running lights on exterior of the truck, camper and trailer 1 day into the trip, the brake, turn and flashers still worked fine, drove 2 more days in daytime only until I got to my sons house to work on it. So I went to interior kick panel Fuse #30 (Parking lamp relay, TT parking lamp relay) the fuse was good but had NO power to it at all , so I went to fuse box under hood and checked Fuse #26 (Trailer tow park lamps) No problem found, Swapped Relay #29 (Trailer tow park lamps) with one that worked, still problem not corrected, looked around best I could for a wiring issue and found nothing so I decided to power the camper and trailer running lights using the unused Upfitter switches #1 and #2, I ran wires to camper and trailer. In the process, by mistake I connected the camper lights wire backwards and back fed to the truck, "ALL" of the exterior running lights came on, I knew that was a mistake so I installed it correctly. All camper and trailer lights worked great using the upfitter switches.

Note; When I back fed the camper light wire into the truck all of the running lights came on and I was not able to turn them off using the light switch or key so I disconnected the battery, then reconnected battery and they stayed off, so this screw up proved all the bulbs work and I could power all the running lights from the plug in the bed of the truck. The camper and trailer are off the truck now and nothing changed.

Right now I'm at a loss at what to check next and could sure use some advice or ideas.
Thanks!!!

Check the ground on the hitch plug wiring. Broken or maybe not good contact, broken/stretched wire.

Maybe run a test wire to ground

Just a random thought

I accidently chopped off my 7 wire to the trailer jack knifing it around the yard. I'm not sure of the fuse numbers under hood but I shorted out several fuses. Suppliers sure are proud of them little things.

Thanks Guys, I am defiantly going to look at the trailer wiring again. The thing I'm confused about is when I accidently back fed power to the running lights at the camper 7pin plug in the bed all of the lights worked, that tells me "I think" it may not be a wiring issue. Are there any Relays, Switches or Controllers that I'm missing or can check?

Wish I could add more as my truck is 2002. Not sure what's what's dash.

But I have a whole subsystem for the 7 pin with a few fuses and relays.

If the parking lamps were supposed to be on when that happened, it would be expected.

Go see this post: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...nce-lamps.html

Altthough the OP never followed up, there's a lot of information there, especially schematics, that may help you move further long.

C'mon back here if you have additional questions.

Thanks for the the thread link, it was very helpful! Now l more stuff to check, I also plan on checking my grounds, clean and repair as needed, I've got a hunch a grounding issue my have contributed to the problem I'm having now. I know of one ground at the rear on frame and one at the battery box under the hood, are there any there any other grounding connections that I can check or areas where a wire may have broken. THANKS!

FYI, I found a company in NY that states that they can repair my BCM with a 1or 2 day turnaround for $255, they also state that if they find no problem they will return it to me at no charge $0, I'm sure I'll have to for pay shipping both ways at probably around $80 or so, they also say that NO reprogramming is required because it's my old unit, does anyone know about this company or to these claims.
