Expedition Coolant Leak
My wife's '16 Expedition has a slow coolant leak. Having to refill the reservoir every month or so.
There's no sign of coolant on the ground or having gone through the engine, so it's probably the relatively common leak under the reservoir.
Does anyone know what to look for or replace?

My 2015 was losing coolant with no signs of a leak, after a year of that and a couple of gallons I finally took it in (still under warranty). It was the water pump rear seal that apparently used to leak into the timing cover and mix with oil but an updated design has it leak all the way through a tube out the back of the intake manifold and onto the top of the trans which when hot was enough to evaporate the slow leak so it never reached the ground. Water pump swap with associated seals/o-rings and it was fixed.

IMHO, don't guess. diagnose it! Could be the crossover tube under the intake manifold, intake manifold itself (rear o-ring might not be visible) coolant reservoir cap, water pump, heater core leak (tiny seam type) or last on the list would be head gasket issue.
