hey all, I just bought a 98 1/2 ton and it's only got a tape player in it. Ick. All I have are CD's. I want to keep the interior appearance as close to stock as possible because i am taking the truck to college next year, and I'm a little worried about security. I figure if it looks stock, it will deter thieves. Plus I like the factory CD players. I'm either going to bite the bullet and get a factory one, or try to find one that someone changed out for a CD changer or a different head unit. what do you guys reccommend if I don't go factory?
myself id just go with an aftermarket deck, doesnt have to be anything fancy, just make sure it has a detachable faceplate. then when u go anywhere, take the faceplate off, put it in the case (most come with one, but u can buy 'em anyway), and put it in your pocket. but thats my opinion.
