Has anyone with the standard Limited Parchment interior replaced your carpet with black rather than the OEM color?
yes there’s a lot of tan carpet such as the front doors, barn floors, behind the seats and the flip down panels when the second row seats are folded down. My thought is what would just the floor in black plush carpet look?
I’m looking for opinions please. This is something I don’t want to regret. I already have the new carpet, OEM carpet color. It’s exchangeable with a restocking fee of 30%. I’d rather take the hit to not regret the final result.
What do you guys think?
With the full 3 rows and cargo floor mats (having Husky in one, and Weathertech in the other) I don't think it would look bad. If you have all the floor mats it mostly is covered in black flooring anyway.
I would probably keep it oem matching the interior, but that's me.

I do use Weathertech matts in the front. I've had a set for over ten years now and they are looking kinda shabby so in the next few weeks when I have the interior done, new Weathertechs are on the "must-need" list. Just need to source a matt for the second row. Any ideas are welcome. (I did mention this in another thread)
Yes, I did exactly that. I replaced with black carpet. While I had the carpet out I installed dynamat and extra insulation. After the carpet was in, I installed tan leather front seats out of a 2016 F250.
i had a black Jeep Rubicon with black carpet and tan leather and I always loved that look. I feel like this is similar and has a cleaner look.
