Quick question, on the 1975 F250, do the fan speed controls , specifically the fan control hi-low portion of the temp control panel illuminate?
Left side of my temp control panel is dark-ish and I can barley read the word fan whereas the right side is well illuminated. Not sure if I have a bulb out or its a design issue.
Appreciate a photo if possible.
Thanks in advance.

And a better shot. 2 wires one elec connector. Bulb housing is inserted and turned to lock in place.
What it looks like from the front with the cover removed. By Dremeling the plastic melted rivet heads off.
I like having stuff to take apart in my parts shed. At a minimum you will probably have to pull the dash bezel and the environmental (heater/a/c) control panel loose (4 screws out) and you might be able to carefully tilt it out and access the bulb from the top. Heater only, not to bad a job. If you get it apart I would multimeter the bulb point before you put it all back together. Worse case you might have to slide it out further and take the radio out and access it from below. Worse worse case completely remove the panel and get it on a work bench and have at it. And NO the front cover does NOT come off easy.
To be clear, I DO have illumination in the temp control panel. Its just that the left side illumination is weak as compared to the right side.
As there is only one bulb in there; any illumination at all means that the bulb is working.
This issue is resolved, on to the next issue to deal with.

i used to have that issue on my 79 F150 Styleside until I installed LED bulbs into my dash. Now I can see my dash lit up going down the road at night. I also found out the unit that screw onto the back to keep the bulbs in were worn out. When I got the new bulbs, they came with new bulb holders. You can also buy replacement holder too if you decide to keep it original. I love my dash.
