So I bought a 48 F1 earlier this year and when it showed up there was a spare oil bath air filter. Interestingly, the one that was on it was not the original but the one that was in the bed as the spare was the original, or at least is original style. I decided to hack up the original to put an air filter in it like a modern car and now I'm left with the spare to do something with. If anyone can let me know anymore about this I'd appreciate it - if it's worth anything I can sell it or if anyone here wants it, I'm happy to send it if you just pay for shipping. I do not have a spare clamp ring to go with it, the only one I have is on the truck. It looks like it's in pretty good shape, but I have no knowledge of its past life.
