Ok - I am home now...My Dad's computer crashed so I couldn't post anything yesterday - How can he LIVE like that!? Hehe

The tape is 2" X 50', HVAC Foil (Aluminum) Tape and is $6.28 at Lowe's in the TAPE Aisle - hehe...Make sure to just take the airbox and tubing right off the truck and wrap everything! Don't wrap the box like a present, obviously, but just the outside of the two halves - took me just under 3 hours to do a good-looking job...

Jacobs went on a month before the tape - It gave me a 1.2 MPG increase over the previous month, while the tape gave me additional 1.9 MPG increase over the next month (ON TOP OF the Jacobs!)

How's THAT?

Biggest let-down...Hypertech Chip...No noticed improvement in mileage at all, and just a slighgtly better shift pattern from the transmission!

That's the tape I purchased. Looks like I'll be spending some time tomorrow wraping it....just like Christmas!

All the guys at F-150 online swear up & down by Superchips. The only draw back to it is that you have to run premium fuel. There's always Jetchips and Hypertech chips for sale over there.
