ok guys i need help i have an 86 bronco with a carborated I6-300 and a clark 4 speed manual transmission, I have found another 86 bronco with a carborated 351W it has a automatic transmission.
All this leads me to my question, i need to know before i buy buy this other bronco EXACTLY what do i need to swap these engines i need to know from people who have done it or know an extensive amount about engines, i have heard the 300, 302 and 351 have the same bolt pattern so if that is true can i use the bell-housing from my bronco and not have to buy a new one for a 351, another question is the flywheel, can i use the fly wheel off of the 300 and the clutch and any other info would be GREATLY appriciated, but please if you do not know for sure then let someone else answer i'm not trying to be rude but i need dont need alot of conflicting answers thank you all
Bellhousing will work, you will need a flywheel with a 28 oz balance or 351 flywheel, 300 will not work. Given the entire motor is complete down to the accessories then basically all you need is the frame mounting brackets you will have to grind the rivets apart and then bolt them to the frame of the truck getting the 351 and the 351 radiator should bolt right in and given you are taking everything related to the ignition with it your good to go, now hooking up the emission/emissions wiring is up to you. later

Sometimes it takes a while to get a few responses. What I posted is correct as far as what you asked. Do you have any other questions? I will try to answer them or find the answer if I do not know it. I have too much time to kill. Good luck with your truck
