I have a roll n lock cover on my 2012 Platinum and I can't get the cover to stay locked. It's been on the truck since the OP bought the truck new in 2012. It appears the aluminum linkage arms bow every time I try to lock it and therefore won't attach to the tailgate lock pins. When it does attach then it won't release from the tailgate lock pins. Has anyone had this issue? I'm looking at ordering a new linkage arm assy but wanted to check here first.
Is there any type of adjustment to loosen the tension on the arms so they do not bow.
I have a cover on my bed and I can make an adjustment to make the bed cover tighter or looser , the adjustment is made up where the cover /bed is near the cab.
I loosen my cover in the winter when it is cold and the cover shrinks and tighten it in the summer when the cover is warm and will stretch.
Actually, the aluminum arms have been stressed so long that they are bowed down from use over the years. I want to know if others have had this problem and how they remedied it.
