Idles rough
My 2000 f150 triton hasn’t ran since January th it does start and it does drive down the road i have new battery,starter, ans exhaust. When I say ut gets down the road that’s a barely, when I engage into a gear ut rough Idles, the rpm drops and even dies. It’ll start right back up though I need suggestions

I would have both a vacuum gauge and a fuel pressure gauge taped to the windshield for the next test drive.
IMO you have either plugged exhaust or a failing fuel pump / clogged fuel filter
Since January? That is a long time to be without your truck
I imagine you have done a bunch of things trying to fix it?

Well I did do a lot of crap too it from January til may then I finally had it towed to a mechanics who rewired it because one of my “mechanic” (part changer), Friends wired it backwards. The try said it had a bad timing chain because it wouldn’t go down the road hardly, but I knew I broke the gas separator or whatever it’s called that quick connects. Basically vacuum related. So they didn’t want to mess with it or have time when I told them it wasn’t the timing, wasn’t giving them 700 to fix it without them running some compressions or some kind of tests. I bought the parts I needed and took out there put them on and drove it home. I personally think it’s either the fuel pump or the o2 sensor becsuee a it’s been telling me I needed those since I bought it and I’m kinda familiar with diagnostics. Not exactly familiar with a lot only know what I know because of the truck, the blue driver obd I purchased, this group, the little bit of stuff my dad taught me since I broke down, and the chilton I purchased .
