Engine Swap
Looking at a 2004 F150 2wd with a 4.6 v8. I have a 2002 Expedition with a 5.4 2v engine. Is it feasible to swap my Expy engine over? What year 4.6 will swap over easily?
Also looking at an 02 F150 4x4 and putting the Expy in barn until I need a motor,trans etc etc.

Not easily. The ‘04 uses electric throttle and you’d have to adapt an intake to work. I don’t believe you can just swap the 4.6 I take and call it a day.
That doesn’t include differences in sensors or anything if that sort between the two generations of trucks.
‘04-05 should be a straight swap for a 4.6, maybe 05-later with some work.
