Shows the same part number while referencing the whole engine group. I'm forwarding the images along as they were posted to help with my (after the pedal rod) linkage on a 302. I'm working with an incomplete wobbly jungle gym of rods and bolts and 50 years of "That'll do it" hahaha- Trying to get back to a sturdy stock set up.
Did the trucks have a different length rod on the firewall side of the gas pedal that depended on what type of engine they had?
Yes, inline 6s 240/300 had a much longer assembly past the pivot point to reach the carb linkage further on the passenger side--there's actually a difference in the cab firewall for a second mount point and bracket to stabilize the pedal rod. V8s as pictured above had less length.
Thanks for the photos. I for sure have the 6cyl setup. I need it longer and closer to the drivers side. Custom made is the way to go I guess.
V8's are pretty common. You could probably find one for less than $20 at a junk yard. I don't have plans to get to mine anytime soon but if you have one local, that's definitely the way to go. I make a rule not to modify anything in the pedal box. A stuck accelerator isn't a fun time.

If the V8 is shorter than the I6 it's not going to work in stock configuration. Modifying or building one doesn't bother me. I've been over 200mph in junk I've built.
Anyone know where to get a replacement when local yards don't have these trucks?
My '70 pedal mounting plate for the firewall broke a few days ago.
I have the 300 straight 6. Shown as 9725 in the breakout picture.
