Parking brake headaches
Recently I got serious about getting my Parking brake to work. I tried and tried to get the original drum brake parking brake to hold on a hill. I had to almost throw my back out trying to push the pedal hard enough to get it to work. Couldn’t get it so I got mad and decided to do a disc brake conversion with the Eldorado calipers with the integrated parking brake lever. I did the conversion and everything looks great and the brakes worked great. Then I hooked up the emergency brake And I cannot get it to hold on a hill. I pushed so hard I broke the front parking brake cable. Has anybody done this conversion and had better luck than myself. Calipers are adjusting correctly And I can’t figure it out.

Parking brake
I used the rear disc kit from Master Power. Their kit uses late Mustang calipers. They hold very well, I realize you have already have the GM style calipers, maybe someone on this site has used them and can help you out.
