If they're usable a set of the early heads is worth way more than $100, same for the block. I think that he found a good deal. He'll probably do best if he finds another complete core engine to get a bunch of the parts that he'll need for a build like a timing cover, thrust plate etc.

There are some D1VE 6015 AA blocks that are the same as the DOVE-A with the wider main webbing to accommodate but not necessarily come with 4 bolt main caps. They are not as common as the D1VE A2B or DOVE block. In fact when we did the Block Summit a number of years ago we had about 30 blocks present and not one of the D1VE-6015-AA.
