I have a phone/camera mount being delivered today. Builtright dash mount and 67 industires arms etc. Would like to have power at the mount rather hanging cables. Anyone done this and can advise?
once you take the dash apart it’s not that hard to route a pair of wires to the passenger kick panel and use a fuse tap to get some power. Ground also available at the arrow.
Can I ask where you got the outlets/plugs? Thats nice!! Thanks

I did something similar when installing the BuiltRight mount to my center dash. I added 2 ports under it so I wouldn't have to drape the cords down the front of the radio. It was easy enough to run a wire to the fuse box in the passenger side floor board and use a tap a fuse to power them (like shown in the photo's from the post above). I used a fuse that is always on. There's a ground screw next to the fuse box too. As for the plugs, there are all sorts of variations on Amazon to choose from... just decide how/where you want to install them and there will be one that will allow you to do so.
