Tires

Need some advice. I just got my first big Bronco and plan to use it mostly on the highway. I'll be using it to pull a 10' single axle trailer hauling a stumpgrinder. The gross tow weight is about 2000 pounds..(close to a ton, ain't it?). OK, it needs new tires, except for one new Wrangler RT/S, size 265/75R15. It rides good, but I don't like the Hummm. Is it ok to get 3 more Wranglers or should I buy 4 of something else? I drive about 100 miles a day. Live in the flat lands and snow isn't a problem. Comfort is important. I'm not rich either.

If the current Wrangler is pretty new, then I'd just buy 3 more. Be sure to put all new tires on the front axle.

Mucho Gracious. Took your advice and bought three. Sure did make it drive better although I didn't have time to try it with the stumpgrinder hooked up. My babys got a new pair of shoes. Now if I can just get that ignition switch replaced...it's always something.
